According to the PDF, concerned groups are demanding that Urban Outfitters, a clothing store popular among teens, remove pint glasses, flasks, and shot glasses made to look like prescription pill bottles since they may reinforce among teens the misperception that misusing and abusing prescription drugs is safer than using illegal drugs. Talk to Your Kids Early About Alcohol!
According to the PDFA, parents should start talking to kids age 9 and older about the dangers of drinking. As kids get older, they start seeing alcohol in a positive light. This may be related to the fact that friends become more important than parents around this time. So, parents get a head start! Talk to your kids today!
