2012 “Are You Above The Influence?
Show Me…” Greenville County Youth Contest

ABOVE THE INFLUENCE IS A COMMUNITY OF TEENS, FOR TEENS.

IT’S ABOUT BEING AN INDIVIDUAL…NOT A FOLLOWER.

IT’S STANDING UP TO NEGATIVE INFLUENCES.

IT’S KNOWING THE FACT ABOUT DRUGS & ALCOHOL, AND MAKING SMART DECISIONS ABOUT DRUGS & ALCOHOL.

In the “Above the Influence” Contest, teens will recognize positive and negative influences in their lives and creatively demonstrate how to be above the negative influences.

Student Groups will complete 2 small projects leading up to the making of an 8 minute video on how they are Above the Influence. 

Teens will feel empowered to make positive decisions!

All Greenville County High Schools Students are invited to participate. The Application Submission Deadline is December 31, 2011. The Video Submission Deadline is March 19, 2012. This youth video contest is sponsored by the Greenville Safe Communities Coalition.
