“TransParenting” Workshop
Provided by: Greenville Family Partnership, 200 Mills Avenue, Greenville, South Carolina
Purpose: To teach effective parenting during the transitions of divorce or parental separation and to impress upon parents the critical role they play in their child’s ability to adjust to changes surrounding divorce. It is nationally recognized by courts and attorneys. For more details, click here.
Topics: How children feel about and react to divorce; how to talk to them about it; and the other adjustments they will need to make.
Schedule:
One 4-hour session on a Saturday, or
Two 2-hour sessions, once a month, on weekdays
Call for specific dates.
Scheduled Times:
8:00AM - 12:00 noon or 9:00AM – 1:00PM on Saturdays
6:00PM – 8:00PM on Weekdays
Cost: $50.00 per person
Who Should Attend?
Divorced parents; single parents; custodial grandparents; concerned family members; divorced parents changing custody or visitation agreements; and educators, social workers, therapists, clergy & school counselors.
